Insurance and Counseling Fees
Insurance companies we are in network with include:
- Aetna
- Moda
- PacificSource
We are able to bill out of network on your behalf or provide you with the documentation you need to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Not every counselor bills out of network or accepts every insurance company noted above. Our intake coordinator will guide you through the process and give you the relevant information that you need about this.
*Clients are responsible for payment if the insurance company does not pay.
Sliding Scale
Some of our counselors offer affordable payment options. Please reach out to see if we have any sliding scale slots available at this time.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled counseling appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Insurance does not cover cancellation fees.
*Exceptions to this exist, per individual policy of insurance companies.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good FaithEstimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
